How to use the exchange trading simulator?

🎯 1. START – YOUR ACCOUNT

Upon launch, you have $100,000 virtual dollars. These are practice funds, you are not risking anything.

Where to check the balance?

  • At the top of the page, a green label “Balance: $100,000”;
  • Next to it “Portfolio: $0” – the value of your purchased assets;

🔍 2. SELECTING AN ASSET FOR TRADING

Assets are what you can buy/sell (stocks, cryptocurrencies).

How to choose:

  1. Enter the name in the «Asset Search» field (e.g.: AAPL, BTC, SBER);
  2. Or simply click on any asset in the «Available Assets» block;

✅ After clicking – the chart and prices will change for the selected asset.

📈 3. CHART AND PRICE

The chart shows how the asset’s price has changed.

What do the numbers under the chart mean?

  • BTC/USD – asset name;
  • $48,500 – current price;
  • ▲ +2.4% – percentage price increase;

Buttons 1M, 5M, 15M, 1H, 1D, 1W, 1MO – chart scale (from 1 minute to 1 month).

💰 4. HOW TO BUY AN ASSET (THE MOST IMPORTANT PART)

Method 1. Quick buy via the simulator chart:

  1. Below the chart, find the «Quantity» panel
  2. Enter the number of shares/coins (e.g.: 5);
  3. Press the green «Buy» button;

Method 2. Buy from the asset list:

  1. In the «Available Assets» block, find the desired asset;
  2. Click «Buy» below it;
  3. Quantity can be adjusted in the input field;

✅ After purchase – the asset will appear in the «My Portfolio» block on the right.

💸 5. HOW TO SELL AN ASSET

Method 1. Via the chart:

  • Press the red «Sell» button under the chart.

Method 2. From the portfolio:

  • In the right column, in the «My Portfolio» block, find the asset;
  • Click «Sell»;

🛡️ 6. PROTECTION AGAINST LOSSES (STOP-LOSS)

Stop-loss – automatic sale if the price drops to a specified level. Protects against large losses.

How to set it up:

  1. Buy an asset;
  2. In the portfolio, click «SL -5%»;
  3. The system will automatically sell the asset if the price drops by 5%;

✅ Displayed in the simulator in the «Stop-Losses» block on the right.

🎯 7. PROFIT TAKING (TAKE PROFIT)

Take profit – automatic sale when the price rises to the desired level.

How to set it up:

  • In the portfolio, click «TP +10%»;

✅ The asset will sell itself when the price increases by 10%.

📘 PROFESSIONAL ORDERS – CLEAR EXPLANATION

5 order types in the online simulator and on real exchanges

🟢 MARKET ORDER

The simplest and fastest order.

✅ What it does:

Buys or sells an asset INSTANTLY at the price currently on the exchange.

📱 Real-life example:

You walk into a store, see the price tag «iPhone – $100,000», immediately go to the register and buy it. You don’t haggle, you don’t wait for a discount – you just buy it now.

💻 How to use in the simulator:

  1. Select an asset (e.g., BTC);
  2. Make sure the «Market» tab is active;
  3. Enter the quantity, e.g., “1”;
  4. Click «Buy»;

✅ The trade happens immediately at the current price.

🟡 LIMIT ORDER

An order for those who want to save.

✅ What it does:

Buys on the exchange ONLY AT YOUR SPECIFIED PRICE or lower.
Sells online ONLY AT YOUR SPECIFIED PRICE or higher.

📱 Real-life example:

You want to buy an iPhone, but you’re only willing to pay $90,000, no more. You leave a request at the store: “Call me when the price drops to $90,000.” The store calls you when it gets cheaper.

💻 How to use in the trading simulator:

  1. Click the «Limit» tab;
  2. In the «Price» field, enter your price (e.g.: 47000 for Bitcoin);
  3. Enter the quantity of assets to trade;
  4. Click «Buy»;

⏳ The order waits in the queue until the price reaches your level.

🔴 STOP ORDER or STOP-LOSS

Protection against losses. The most important order!

✅ What it does:

AUTOMATICALLY SELLS the asset when the price FALLS to a dangerous level.

📱 Real-life example:

You bought an iPhone for $100,000 and are afraid it will lose value. You tell a friend: “If the price drops to $90,000 – sell it immediately, don’t think twice!” Your friend watches and sells, without asking.

Method 1. Quick (recommended):

  1. Buy an asset;
  2. In the portfolio, click «SL -5%»;
    👉 Automatically sets a sale if the price drops by 5%.

Method 2. Manual («Stop» tab):

  1. Click «Stop»;
  2. In the «Stop price» field, enter the level (e.g.: 46000);
  3. Click «Sell»;

⚠️ WITHOUT A STOP-LOSS YOU COULD LOSE EVERYTHING! Always use it.

🟠 STOP-LIMIT ORDER

A combination of protection and price control.

✅ What it does:

When the price on the exchange drops to the stop price – a LIMIT ORDER TO SELL at your specified price is ACTIVATED.

📱 Real-life example:

You bought an iPhone for $100,000. You want to sell if the price drops to $90,000, BUT NOT BELOW $89,000.
“If the price drops to $90,000 – place a sell order for $89,500, but not cheaper!”

💻 How to use in the trading simulator:

  1. Click the «Stop-limit» tab;
  2. «Stop price» – activation level (e.g.: 47000);
  3. «Price» – minimum sale price (e.g.: 46900);
  4. Click «Sell»;

✅ Protection against slippage: you won’t sell for less than you want.

🟣 TAKE PROFIT ORDER

Automatic profit taking.

✅ What it does:

AUTOMATICALLY SELLS the asset when the price RISES to the desired level.

📱 Real-life example:

You bought an iPhone for $100,000, want to make $10,000 profit. You say: “When the price reaches $110,000 – sell it immediately, take the profit!”

💻 How to use in the simulator:

Method 1. Quick:

  1. Buy an asset;
  2. In the portfolio, click «TP +10%»;
    👉 Automatically sells when the price rises by 10%.

Method 2. Manual («Take profit» tab):

  1. Click «Take profit»;
  2. In the «Price» field, enter the desired sale price;
  3. Click «Sell»;

📋 9. ORDER BOOK (ON THE RIGHT)

Shows who wants to buy/sell and at what prices.

  • Red – people want to sell;
  • Green – people want to buy;

👉 If you double-click on a price in the order book, it will be highlighted for copying. You can copy it and paste it into the order field.

🏆 10. TRADER TOURNAMENT

Compete against other users.

How to participate:

  1. Click «Join competition»;
  2. Your name will appear in the table with your profit;
  3. The more you earn, the higher your rank;

📉 11. RISK MONITORING

In the «Risk monitoring» block on the right:

  • Margin – ratio of portfolio value to balance;
  • Risk level – Low / Medium / High;
  • Daily P&L – how much you’ve earned/lost today;
  • Open P&L – total profit/loss;

🔄 12. RESET ACCOUNT

If you want to start over:

  1. Click the red «Reset demo account» button at the very bottom;
  2. Confirm the action;
  3. The balance becomes $100,000, the portfolio is cleared;
